The Big 12 season is halfway done, with every team having played at least four games, and this Saturday shapes up as a big one for teams across the conference.
No. 3 Kansas State can remove almost all the drama from the conference title race by winning at home against defending champion Oklahoma State. With a win Saturday night, the Wildcats would have to lose two of their final three games to fall short of the championship.
Oklahoma State is the only other team in the conference that controls its own destiny, but one of five that could become bowl eligible with a win Saturday.
And then there’s the game that could determine last place, with Kansas playing at Baylor with both seeking their first conference win of the season.
