Reward Increased For Texas Most Wanted Sex Offender
NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The reward for a North Texas sex offender has increased to more than $10,000.
Jimmy Ray McMillan is on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list and is currently wanted for failing to register as a sex offender.
Texas Crime Stoppers is now offering a $13,000 reward for information leading to McMillan’s arrest, if the tip is received during the month of December.
The 42-year-old has convictions for Burglary, Evading Arrest or Detention and DWI. In 1988 McMillan was found guilty of twice sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl who he was babysitting in Dallas.
While the last known address for McMillan was in Nacogdoches he was born in North Texas and still has family here.
McMillan stands 5’10”, weighs about 155 pounds and has the letters “TEX” tattooed on his right arm. Authorities warn that he is considered armed and dangerous. He has been known to work construction, roofing and carnival jobs.
Anyone with information about McMillan or any other Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitive or sex offender is asked to contact authorities. There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:

• Text the letters DPS and then your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone
• Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking the link under the picture
