DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas Fire Rescue removed a body from White Rock Lake on Tuesday after walkers spotted it floating it in the water.
The body is that of a partially-clothed adult black female, whose identity has not yet been released.
The body was found just south of the Dallas Arboretum. Rescuers were able to retrieve the body from the shore using a stokes basket.
The cause of death will be determined by medical examiners. Dallas homicide detectives are working the case until the cause is determined.
