DALLAS (CBS 11 NEWS)  - Have you ever tried to do your make up like one of the models in a magazine only to fail?  Well here’s your answer, Blushington Makeup and Beauty Lounge.

“We wanted something that was very intimate and really nothing like it and that’s the best thing about this place, you’re not going to find this anyplace else.”  Jessica Scantlin is a one of the professional makeup artists at Blushington.  “Basically for 30 minutes you get your own personal makeup artist.”

The prices average around $40 and you don’t have to buy makeup.  Like Jessica, all the artists have worked on set and have had freelance careers so it’s not like being at a makeup counter.  “Sometimes whenever you go to a makeup counter they only know how to sell makeup and all of our artists are trained in how to apply makeup.”

They can even teach you how to apply all that makeup you’ve bought and stuck in a drawer.  They offer classes for preteens just learning about makeup all the way to advanced classes to teach you how to get the looks from the magazines.

Whether you have a big event or you just want to feel like a celebrity you can.  “Basically you’re paying $40 for the experience to go get a full face of makeup and then go somewhere and enjoy and have champagne with your girlfriends, it’s the best.”
