ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Arlington are investigating a deadly crash that took place at about 2:45 a.m. early Saturday morning. The driver of a 2005 Cadillac CTS died after leaving the roadway and crashing into a home in the 1800 block of Faithful Trail.
Authorities said that the car was traveling southbound on New York Avenue when it veered off the rightside of the road. The vehicle slammed into a fire hydrant and fence before striking the front of the house.
The deceased driver has not been identified. Nobody inside of the home was seriously hurt. There were no other passengers inside of the vehicle.
