FORT WORTH (CBS 11 NEWS) - A documentary based on retired U.S. Army officer Lt. Col. James “Maggie” Megellas’ experiences in World War II will be featured at the American Airlines C.R. Smith Museum.
The documentary, “Maggie’s War: A True Story of Courage, Leadership and Valor in World War II,” recounts the story of Lt Col. James Megellas, Called “Maggie” by his comrades, as he commanded a platoon in Company H of the 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division.
Lt. Col Megellas is the most-decorated officer in the history of the 82nd Airborne Division.
Three screenings will be open to the public on Wednesday, January 23rd at the C.R. Smith Museum. For show times and tickets go to www.airpowerfoundation.com/events.
