IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) – Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced on Tuesday that he expects that the Cowboys will announce the hiring of a new Special Teams Coordinator. You can cross Bruce DeHaven off the list.
CBS 11 Sports has learned that the Cowboys will not hire DeHaven to replace the position vacated by Joe DeCamillis. DeHaven worked as the Cowboys Special Teams Coordinator from 2003 to 2006.
DeHaven last served in the same role for the Buffalo Bills from 2010 to 2012.
The Dallas Cowboys have been searching for a new Special Teams Coordinator since last week, when DeCamillis left the organization to join the Bears as the Special Teams Coach in Chiago.
