DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A massive fire swept through a vacant commercial building in northwest Dallas on Tuesday morning, sending flames shooting into the air and bringing a four-alarm response from Dallas Fire-Rescue.
Firefighters were first called to the 9600 block of Overlake Drive near Northwest Highway around 12:30 a.m. on reports of smoke in the area. When the first units got to the scene, they found a large commercial building with fire showing.
It took several hours to get the flames knocked down. The fourth alarm was called for manpower purposes, officials said.
There has been no word, at this point, on what caused the fire, and no reports of injuries.
