Mild Weekend for North Texas, Plus February Outlook

As we start the month of February, a rather quiet weather pattern is with us. We will see chilly mornings, but mild afternoons with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s this weekend. We will see mostly sunny skies on Saturday and then partly sunny skies on Sunday. Tomorrow is Groundhog Day!
No rain expected this weekend. On Monday, there will be a small chance of a shower mainly east of Dallas, but the chance will only be 20%. Looks like our next best chance of rain will come late next week, probably Friday, Feb. 8th.
Average temperatures do increase for the month of February as we are seeing more daylight each day. The average high on February 1st is 58. By the end of the month, the average high is up to 63.
