DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – He’s well known in UFC circles as one of the scrappiest fighters in the history of the promotion. A man who can seemingly come back from all manner of adversity in a fight, and he’s demonstrated it on multiple occasions.

Despite being the smallest of the lightweights, Frankie Edgar held that division’s title and defended it.  He lost the belt to current champ Benson Henderson via controversial decision, and he lost a rematch via an even more controversial decision.

Tonight on pay per view, Frankie Edgar drops down to featherweight to challenge champion Jose Aldo, who is widely regarded as one of the best pound for pound fighters in the entire sport.

Listen to my interview with Frankie Edgar about his decision to come down in weight, the lingering effects of his controversial losses, and exactly how long he has had Aldo in mind as an opponent
