40 DEGREE TEMPERATURE SWING IN STORE TONIGHT

UPDATE:  We have tied the record high temperature for this date of 88 degress at DFW!

Temperatures climbed into the upper 80s today!  This is the hottest day of the year so far.  As of 3:45pm, the high at DFW has been 88 degrees.  This ties the record high of 88 for this date set in 1955.

COLD FRONT ARRIVES THIS EVENING

A strong cold front will arrive around 9pm in the DFW area.  Behind the front winds will shift to the north and cooler air will push into the area.  North winds behind this cold front will gust to 35+ mph.

COLD AND WINDY AT DAYBREAK TUESDAY

Temperatures at daybreak Tuesday will be in the mid 40s with gusty north winds blowing.  It will feel like it is in the 30s!  That is quite a difference from the upper 80s we are feeling today.

A strong upper level storm system will be slowly moving out of the southwest this weekend.  The models differ on the timing and track but at this time it looks like we will see the best chance of rain during the day Sunday.
