It’s dusty, smells like new paint and is definitely a work in progress. But if all goes as planned, and it will, Rangers Ballpark in Arlington will have some wonderful upgrades by the time the team plays the home opener against Josh Hamilton and the Angels on April 5th.
Tuesday night, the Ballpark hosted a game between TCU and UTA. While there was not near the crowd in attendance a Rangers game draws, many areas were still off limits to fans. The club is in the process of swapping out seats, wrapping up finishing touches and going through final installations.
One of the more notable changes is to the private club located on the mezzanine level behind home plate. Formerly known as the Cuervo Club it is being re-branded as the Capital One Club and offers what looks to be a more modern experience with better views.
