OLNEY (AP/CBSDFW.COM) —UPDATED 3:17 P.M.  Police have found leg irons, a belly shackle and grey T-shirt allegedly worn by escaped prisoner Michael Rimmer, according to Olney Police Department Chief Barry Roberts. They found the discarded prison accoutrement under a small bridge off Spring Creek Road at Avenue G in Young County.

Police say if Rimmer hasn’t found a change of clothes, then he’s shirtless and wearing blue jean shorts and sneakers.

The Young County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety are also involved in the search.

Roberts says Rimmer has a history that includes assaulting a police officer and drug distribution. Rimmer is considered dangerous.
