DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The attorney for Dallas Cowboys player Josh Brent wants Dallas District Attorney Craig Watkins to stop talking about his client.
George Milner plans to file for a modified gag order Wednesday in the case after the Dallas DA appeared on 105.3 The Fan on June 28th and made certain comments about his client.
Milner claims Watkins also said Brent “needs to go to prison” and says Watkins comments are unethical.
Brent is charged with intoxication manslaughter for his involvement in a car accident that killed his close friend and teammate Jerry Brown.
Brent was recently jailed for allegedly violating conditions of his bond by failing a drug test, twice.
