PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) – Plano police have arrested a 31-year-old man suspected of exposing himself to numerous women in store parking lots.

Jeremy Smith was charged with two counts of indecent exposure for what police say occurred in parking lots near the Dallas North Tollway and Park Boulevard.

Investigators say Smith would sit in his car,  call women over for help with directions, and then expose himself.

Officer David Tilley with Plano police says Smith may be responsible for as many as five flashings since May.

“These type individuals will continue to do this as long as they can get away with it,” said Tilley. “In some cases, the level of what they’re doing will escalate. That’s why it’s so important that we get the information immediately and get this person off the street.”

Tilley is concerned that Smith may have committed similar crimes in other cities. Anyone with information is urged to call the Plano Police Department.
