DALLAS (CBS 11 NEWS) - On the heels of releasing their newest song, “The Best Song Ever,” the boy band One Direction will be at the American Airlines Center Monday night.
There will be thousands of fans at the concert ready to see them perform, but one young fan will be getting her Christmas do over in July.
Neta Penson on Christmas told her daughter Ali that she would be buying her One Direction tickets, but with a misunderstanding about when the tickets went on sale Neta was left with no tickets for her daughter.
In a panic, she called the American Airlines Center where she found out the day of the concert you can line up at the box office in an attempt to buy left over tickets.
So that is exactly what Neta, Ali, and her two friends did this morning.
They woke up at 3 a.m. to leave their house in Waco to be the first ones in line, unsure if there would even be tickets.
After waiting in line a few hours, they knew they would be able to buy tickets. Now the question was when would the tickets be released. For Ali and her friends, the wait would be forever!
What started off as a Christmas blunder turned into memories of a lifetime for a mother and daughter.
