Mother Of Murdered Saginaw Girl Remembers ‘Loving’ Daughter
SAGINAW (KRLD) — The mother of murdered Saginaw girl Alanna Gallagher joined KRLD to remember her daughter and speak about her daughter’s suspected killer.
When asked what she misses most about her six-year-old daughter, Laura Gallagher said the following.
“I miss her bubbly affection. She was the most loved and loving person I think I’ve ever met. She was very sweet and affectionate with her family. She would draw little stick figures, and surround them with purple hearts and tell me, ‘that’s you momma and that’s me. I drew all the hearts because I love you and you love me'”.
17-year-old Tyler Holder is suspected of killing the girl after authorities found his DNA matched that which was found on Gallagher’s body.
Authorities were serving the arrest and search warrant at Holder’s home on Tuesday morning when he opened fire on officers, hitting Arlington police officer Charles Lodatto in the leg.
Police returned fire, hitting Holder in the head. He remains in critical condition.
