DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A 42-year-old University Park woman pleaded guilty to one count of transporting and shipping child pornography Tuesday in Federal Court.

Erika Susan Perdue has been in custody since June 2012 after violating conditions of her release following the original 4-count indictment charging her with two counts of transporting and shipping child pornography, one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors say FBI special agents were monitoring online trafficking of child porn in a publicly-available peer-to-peer file-sharing site in early  January 2012 and came across an individual using the username, “Classybitch,” later identified as Perdue.

A shared folder on the site containing numerous explicit files was identified and led authorities to downloaded the files directly from Perdue’s computer. The files showed child pornography including a video of a man and a woman engaged in sexually explicit conduct with a minor child.

A search warrant was executed at Perdue’s $1.4 million, 4,000-square-foot home in the posh University Park area on April 10, 2012.  She admitted to investigators that one of her screen names was “Classybitch,” and that she traded child pornography while her husband was at work.

Sentencing is scheduled for January 13, 2014 and prosecutors say as part of a plea agreement Perdue is facing a 14-year sentence, fines of up to $250,000 and a lifetime of supervised release.
