Temps dropped again into the 40s and 30s this morning across NTX which is below the average low of 55° for this time of the year.
There is a lot of dry air in place allowing for sunny skies which will help us warm up nicely to the mid 70s this afternoon.
There are a series of fronts devleoping that will pass through NTX during the next few days but they will be starved of moisture so I don’t expect any significant rain rounding out the work week. The first front will approach NTX near midnight tonight as it is losing a lot of energy so we won’t have a significant cool down in the forecast tomorrow AM. High pressure build in behind that weak front and switch our winds around to the south between 5mph-10mph. This will help us warm to slightly above average for our daytime highs. Thursday into Friday another cold front is near NTX and actually will bring us cooler temps rounding out the week with highs only reaching the upper 60s on Friday. Models are disagreeing on timing of some rain this weekend and right now I am leaning more toward Sunday to see a better chance of rain. All of this broken down means that the great fall weather sticks around this week. Enjoy!
