Theft Suspect Targeting Dallas Dollar Stores
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Dallas police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for up to seven thefts in the Pleasant Grove area this month.
Four of the thefts occurred at Dollar General Stores — three at the same location.
12/6: Walgreens Drug Store, 4702 N. Jim Miller
12/7: Dollar General, 2020 N. Masters
12/9: Dollar General, 7771 Great Trinity Forest Way
12/13: Taco Bell, 1955 S. Buckner
12/13: Family Dollar, 1515 S. Buckner
12/18: Dollar General, 7771 Great Trinity Forest Way
12/19: Dollar General, 7771 Great Trinity Forest Way
The suspect is described as a black male, 30-35 years of age, standing 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds. On each occasion, the suspect pretends to make a small purchase. When the cashier opens the register, the suspect reaches over the counter and takes the cash.
