This morning’s low at DFW was 24 degrees!

This is the 24th day where the temperatures has been at or below 32 degrees at DFW for the months of November and December.

We had 5 days in November and 19 days in December where we saw freezing temperatures.

That brings the total to 24 days.

This is the most freeze days to start the “cold season” on record.

The previous record for most freezes this early was 23 set in 1989 and 2000.

The official data goes back to 1898*.
