Two Injured In Shooting Outside Fort Worth Bar

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — Two men were shot overnight at a Fort Worth bar after a verbal altercation between two groups turned violent.

Fort Worth Police were dispatched to the El Sombrero Bar at 3524 Hemphill Street just after 2:00 a.m. in reference to a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two groups had been in a verbal altercation. One member of the group departed but returned with a shotgun. The suspect discharged the weapon, striking two, before fleeing the scene.

Both victims were transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in unknown conditions.
