Many of you who know me personally know that I love radio, as it was my first love in 1968 when I did a 2-hour radio show on KVIL-FM right before Ron Chapman started his long reign of dominance in the market. So if I could be a radio music director for one day and could schedule music on a greatest hits station like KLUV-FM (not a CHR hot hits station) doing an “All American Weekend” rotation of music, below are some artists…50 in all…. that come to mind…songs that the late KXOL/KVIL personality Mike Seldon would say…”lock it in and crank it up!”….
