Today (Monday) we came close to 100 at DFW. Officially, we made it to 99 degrees at DFW! That is the hottest day of the year so far.
There have been a few isolated storms popping up. Coverage has been low and will stay low thru the evening.
But there are some rain chances Tuesday night into Wednesday as a weak cold front gets closer to North Texas.
As of 4pm on Monday, that front is still across the Central Plains.
But it will get close to the Red River tomorrow night and generate some isolated storms. Here’s a look at rain chances.
Upper 90s for the rest of the week. Any day we could reach 100 for the first time. The day where I see the most favorable conditions to reach 100 is Saturday. But Friday, Sunday and Monday could all reach it too.
