Today it hit 102° at DFW making it the hottest day of the year so far. Our Weather Watcher Network confirmed it: it was a scorcher out there today:

We are expecting another day just like it tomorrow. The humidity might be just a little higher with more in afternoon clouds:

But it’s going to get better so we close down July and get into August. Just like last week another round of cooler air makes it way to north Texas just as we get into what is normally the hottest part of the year:


There are decent rain chances as well. If somehow we can end up with over 1.35″ of rain by Thursday we could end up with above-normal rainfall for the month of July. That would be the first time this year. The first of the rain should arrive Monday morning as a cold front comes through:

We’ll have a north wind and clouds but will still get into the 90’s. The second cold front that arrives on Wednesday night will also give us rain chances but also bring much cooler air:
