dfw Top 5 College Football Cupcake BlowoutsBest Young Athlete In DFW?

DALLAS, Texas (105.3 The Fan) - You see it happen year after year right as the NCAA football season begins.  -The small, under-appreciated and most often unknown university teams offer up their puny hides to the seething and salivating major university industrial football programs – only to be chewed up and spit upon the sacrificial alter of the college football gods.

You know who they are.

They appear year after year in the number one, two or even homecoming spot on the the schedule.

They are the teams who you inevitably have to ask your friends about,  not every friend just that one guy who knows every obscure campus full of hippies, liberals and fratboys. They never are in a city you can remember or even pronounce.

But these small school depend on these games. Not for the sport of it…but of the payday!

Smaller schools get a nice split of the sale of public tickets to see the lambs led before the hungry lions, and if the AD was slick enough to negotiate, a small cut of the broadcast revenue that is heaped on the big boys.

No matter if it’s money or for the love of the game, these teams are affectionately known as the ‘cupcake.’

Here are some of the best NCAA cupcake blowouts:
