DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — More than 75,000 pumpkins and gourds create the Texas-themed pumpkin village at the Dallas Arboretum, according to a spokesperson. And among the color-coordinated pumpkin displays are a number of activities for children.
The eight-acre Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden includes more than 100 activities for children, according to a press release. Kids can walk along treetop walks and transform sun, water and wind power into energy, among other opportunities.
MSN Travel named the Dallas Arboretum one of the “Best Fall Festivals to Celebrate the Season,” according to the press release.
The arboretum also offers dining, music on weekends and special discounts.
