The Greatest Generation Aircraft Museum at Meacham Airport in Fort Worth celebrates the brave men and women of World War Two.  Again this year they are offering Christmas light flights in their fully restored C-47 lovingly known as The Southern Cross.

“I’ve had people come up to the cockpit and say this is the greatest thing I’ve ever done in my life, and God bless you” said museum founder and c-47 pilot Jim Terry.

The Christmas light flights depart from Fort Worth Meacham International Airport around 6 pm.  They even have a New Year’s Eve flight that takes off at 11:30 pm on December 31st to ring in the New Year in style!
