COLLIN COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – Authorities have positively identified a body found in Farmersville last week as missing Richardson woman Jessie Bardwell, 27.
Police and the FBI were led to rural northeast Collin County, south of Farmersville, where Bardwell’s body was found in a wooded area last Thursday evening.
Bardwell was reported missing by her parents in Mississippi who grew suspicious after she failed to call on Mother’s Day. Police have charged her live in boyfriend, Jason Lowe, with her murder.
Lowe was arrested in May of last year for aggravated assault, causing serious bodily injury in the alleged assault against his former girlfriend, causing her to lose consciousness, according to an affidavit.
He is behind bars on a $1 million bond.
