SMU Student Reports Being Sexually Assaulted At Dorm

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A student at Southern Methodist University reported Monday she was sexually assaulted at a residence hall by two male acquaintances.

According to campus police, the student said she was assaulted Sunday between 11:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.

SMU police said both suspects were identified, and one of them is a student at the school. Both were contacted by SMU police.

Police are asking anyone that has any information on the case to call the SMU police department at 214.768.3333.

The case is under investigation.
