EULESS (CBSDFW.COM) – The family of a missing Fort Worth woman is speaking out and asking for the public’s help in finding 25-year-old Typhenie Johnson.
Police have been looking for Johnson since Monday when she was last seen with her ex-boyfriend.
Volunteers have been helping the family search in multiple remote areas hoping to find some sign of the missing 25-year-old. They’ve been using the Valero gas station on Trinity Boulevard as a meeting point to compare notes and figure out their next move. We heard today from Johnson’s mother who flew in from the Midwest and other relatives, and they tell us they’re grateful for the public’s support.
“Typhenie’s the youngest of my children, the youngest of the twins. She’s a wonderful person, always full of life, very, very, very talkative,” Deborah Johnson Strub said.
Johnson was last seen with her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Revill. Police arrested him Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of kidnapping. Since then loved ones have been searching areas as investigators develop leads.
Family members arrived from across the country to thank all those who have helped them.
“This is what small town people do, and this is the biggest city I’ve ever been in. It shows a lot for the Fort Worth/ Dallas area. It shows a lot,” Typhenie’s uncle Mike Johnson said.
“Hopefully we will find Typhenie and find her safe,” Strub said.
The family will hold a candlelight vigil at nearby Post Oak Village Park in Euless at 8 o’clock Saturday night. The public is invited to attend and to help continue search efforts this weekend.
