1 Dead In Crash Involving UPS Truck And Motorcycle In Waxahachie

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Steve Rodriguez, 47, of Waxahachie.

WAXAHACHIE (CBSDFW.COM) – One person on a motorcycle died in a crash Thursday afternoon involving the motorcycle and a UPS truck on Hwy 813 near Windham Road in Waxahachie.

It  happened just before 3:00 p.m.

According to DPS, the preliminary investigation reveals the UPS truck was traveling west on FM 813 and a motorcycle was traveling east on FM 813, when UPS truck turned left and the motorcycle struck the truck.

The roadway remains closed and the investigation is ongoing.

  1. It is with absolute certainty that the truck cut the front of the motorcyclist and was the cause of the accident and the lamentable death of the motorcyclist

    1. I agree that obviously the ups truck turned in front of motorcycle and cut him off. The motorcycle driver had no time to react and stop.
