If it’s trending, hot on the web or viral, Angela knows about it. Angela brings you her “What’s Trending Online” reports everyday on CBS 11 News at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The North Texas native and South Grand Prairie High School graduate is thrilled to be back home, working for the station she grew up watching.
Along the way, Angela has worked as an anchor/reporter in Mobile, Alabama (WPMI); Las Vegas, Nevada (KSNV); Savannah, Georgia (WJCL/WTGS) and Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV). She still remembers her first story on a central Missouri pig farm, while working for KOMU-TV. Some of her most memorable stories include the Las Vegas arrest and robbery/kidnapping trial of O.J. Simpson and the inauguration of President Barack Obama. She was the only television reporter in Nevada to travel to Washington for the event.
Angela is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, shopping, and of course, surfing the web. You can follow Angela on Twitter (@amnewslady) and if you spot a great trending story, send it her way.
