Bob Goosmann
Bob Goosmann is an award-winning meteorologist with twenty-six years’ experience in radio and television.
Most recently, he was chief meteorologist for KDAF-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth. Prior to that, he held the same position at KDVR-TV in Denver. He also served as chief meteorologist for KRLD’s sister CBS Television station KTVT (CBS 11) in Dallas-Fort Worth for nine years. In addition, he has worked at stations in Providence, Rhode Island and Richmond, Virginia.
Goosmann’s work has been recognized with awards from the Associated Press, the Colorado Broadcasters Association and the Press Club of Dallas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in meteorology from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and the AMS Seal.
