Brittany Jeffers is proud to call Dallas ‘home’ after she recently joined the team as a reporter at CBS 11.

Brittany is an Emmy award winning reporter/anchor who has covered everything from American Idol auditions to the destructive aftermath of the 2012 Moore tornado.

She was awarded two regional Emmy awards for her coverage during the 5 and 9 p.m. newscasts.

Prior to working with CBS 11, Brittany was the weekend anchor/reporter at FOX23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the morning news anchor at KLKN Channel 8 in Lincoln, NE.

Brittany is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in broadcast journalism. Brittany was Miss Nebraska 2009 and a finalist at Miss America. She’s involved with the Girl Scouts of America and volunteered her time with the Kiwanis Club of Tulsa and CureSearch for children’s cancer.
