Dan Haggerty

Award-winning journalist Dan Haggerty joined CBS 11 as an anchor and reporter in September 2015.

Dan came to CBS 11 from KGTV in San Diego, California, where he uncovered dangerous crimes and security gaps at a brand new, multi-million dollar downtown library. He also tracked down the origin of cremated ashes mysteriously left at a California car wash to the life of a famous USC running back.

Dan graduated from Ohio University and began his career as a photographer in his hometown of Wheeling, West Virginia. He later worked on-air in Raleigh, North Carolina; Fort Myers, Florida and Cleveland, Ohio.

Dan enjoys fitness, movies and getting out and about with his wife, CBS 11 Consumer Justice Investigator Cristin Severance.
