Sports Anchor Gina Miller hosts THE FAN weeknights from 6:30 to 7:30 on TXA 21. She also co-hosts TXA 21’s Rangers, Stars and Mavs pre-game shows, as well as the Dallas Cowboys pre- and post-game shows on CBS 11.
Before she joined CBS 11 and TXA 21, Gina spent three years as a sports reporter at WFAA-TV. Prior to that, she reported, produced and hosted programs for the SilverStar Network, the television production arm of the Dallas Cowboys. Earlier in her career, Gina also worked at KHOU-TV (Houston), WBIR-TV (Knoxville, Tennessee), and KUAM-TV (Guam). In college, Gina interned with the Houston Rockets, where she received a championship ring in the 1994-95 season.
Gina is a Dallas native; She grew up in the Lakewood area, near White Rock Lake. She is a self-confessed “fitness addict” who enjoys running, yoga, and Pilates. Gina has run half-marathons including the Cowtown Half-Marathon and the Jerusalem Half-Marathon. She and her husband, Jim, have a daughter, Jordan, who quite possibly has a larger wardrobe than Gina’s.
The Mavericks cancelled their morning shootaround prior to their game against the Clippers Monday. That gave us plenty of time to spend with the Los Angeles team that is stealing some star power from that other team in the City of Angels.
Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion was so gracious and opened his beautiful home to our cameras to broadcast our Fan Sports Show live Monday night.
How about some of the fun stuff? The Leftovers. Lots to be had after what was a great game, an elaborate halftime show and some fun commercials. (I DID pick the Giants, btw)
Big changes are coming to The Fan Sports Show on TXA 21. Starting February 6, The Fan Sports Show will air from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
