garvin Keith GarvinBefore joining CBS 11 and TXA 21 News, Keith Garvin spent three years as an anchor and reporter for WRC-TV, the NBC-owned station in Washington, D.C.  Prior to that, he was a correspondent for ABC News and regularly anchored World News Now/World News This Morning.

Keith was raised in the Bryan-College Station area and graduated from the Don Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he played strong safety and outside linebacker for the Wolf Pack.  He began his career at KOLO-TV in Reno and went on to work in Las Vegas, Raleigh-Durham and Fresno.  Keith and his wife, Lisa, have four daughters.  He enjoys running and attending his girls’ cheerleading, gymnastics and dance competitions.
