Kevin “KT” Turner
Kevin “KT” Turner is the producer of 105.3 The Fan’s “Ben and Skin Show”.
Kevin was raised in a small town with about 3,000 people called Olney, TX. Ever since the age of 6, he knew that radio would be his career choice. At the age of 13, before he’d even hit puberty, he was doing play-by-play for Olney High School sports as well as other radio goofball odd jobs. KT attended The University of North Texas, where he graduated with a degree in Radio/TV/Film. At KNTU the university’s radio station, he worked in a number of roles as DJ, Reporter, Anchor, and Talk Show Host. In 2010 he was hired at Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket in Dallas, and worked there until May of 2013 when he joined “The Ben and Skin Show”.
Kevin’s long term life goal is to become a touring member of The Polyphonic Spree, while also marrying three women at once. He’s looking at you Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie, and Rashida Jones. KT is a self-admitted TV goober and is also a narcoleptic. He assumes he has no children, mainly due to the low volume of sexual activity. Now it’s time for a thing called KT’s favorite things.
- Parks and Recreation
- Breaking Bad
- Boardwalk Empire
- Arrested Development/It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- Dave Matthews Band
- Polyphonic Spree
- Modest Mouse
- The Killers
Something I haven’t felt in so long. General sports hurt. For what? A spineless, poor free-throw shooting rim protector who doesn’t understand the importance of a man’s word? Yeah, for him.
By Kevin “KT” Turner | @ktfuntweets 105.3 THE FAN — Mock drafts are real weird because it’s become a trend nationally. Esteemed and some non-esteemed colleagues are forced to spit them out, almost weekly, which […]
The following blog contains KT’s thoughts on sports, entertainment, pop-culture, and of course human sexuality.
I’m officially in baseball mode. I think it’s because the team was so far out of it last year, that it’s made the offseason a little longer than usual.
Stay warm. If it makes you feel any better it’s cold and rainy here in Surprise, Arizona.
If you’re a Cowboys fan, Morris Claiborne may have turned you off from drafting a cornerback. But Marcus Peters is a special player, and one I think the Cowboys should target at No. 27.
Our show specifically featured Bill Romanowski, Icky Woods, Tony Gonzalez and his beautiful wife October, Dhani Jones, and most importantly Robert O’Neill, the former Navy seal who shot Osama Bin Laden in the face multiple times.
Just wrapped up the Wednesday show, and things have been rocking along nicely as the convention center got a little busier.
I ended up going out with Cavanaugh to another establishment, and we made the poor decision of staying out until 3:00 am.
The group from The Fan, 14 of us, arrived yesterday and got the week of coverage started with copious amounts of beer, fun, and shenanigans.
Ben and Skin listen to Jason Garrett’s post-win pep talk from Sunday’s game in London and the University of Tennessee football team’s pre-game speech from rapper Lil Jon last Saturday, then decide which of the two would get a team more pumped up.
Ben and Skin look into the social media postings of two Dallas Cowboys players who tweeted at Twitter trolls after Sunday’s victory against Jacksonville to determine whether or not they used their posts effectively.
