Cities across North Texas are taking action before the winter storm arrives. While some events have been cancelled or delayed, as of now, the starting line is still up for one of this weekend’s “hottest” events.
Dallas does everything big, especially when it comes to races like the White Rock Marathon and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The city has earned its ranking in athletic competitions with scores of charitable runs, walks and other events. Run the best the Big D has to offer all year long.
This is the best time of year to get a good race in, taking advantage of the cooler weather and low humidity. As the temperatures drop in Dallas-Fort Worth, the race schedule picks up. There are so many races from mid-December through the end of January it’d be impossible to list them all.
