‘Level Red’ Ozone Alert Issued For North Texas

A ‘Red Ozone’ alert has been declared for North Texas. Despite being in a two-month long heat wave, this is the first time an alert of this magnitude has been declared this summer.

Local Clean Air Action Day Also 2nd Worst Air Quality Day In U.S.

Thursday, Dallas/Fort Worth found itself on a national list it would rather not be on. The list posted by federal environmental agencies on http://www.airnow.gov showed the Metroplex had the second worst air quality in the U.S.
