Texas ALS Patient Wants ‘Ice Bucket’ $ To Go To Research

Marcie Gibson is completely paralyzed by ALS and lies in her wheelchair, with a specialized computer in front of her. She wants the ALS Association to spend the more than $100 million recently raised solely on research.

Funeral Honors Mansfield Firefighter Who Battled ALS

Citizens of Mansfield stood along the road leading to Walnut Ridge Baptist Church holding flags. Some placed their hands over their hearts or bowed their heads. They all stood in silence as the white hearse passed, led by two rows of motorcycle police and followed by a long line of firetrucks and ambulances.
