SPCA rescue teams entered a Balch Springs home Wednesday afternoon and were soon pulling out stacks of animal crates from a home that records show is occupied by a 69-year-old woman.
With animal shelters filling up, the City of Fort Worth is taking an unusual step to keep homeless pets alive. As part of a new program, one woman has become the city’s first animal foster care home.
