Rangers Get LHP Figueroa On Waivers From Tampa Bay

Figueroa made 24 relief appearances over two seasons for the A’s. He allowed four runs in three innings last season. He spent most of the year with Triple-A Sacramento.

A’s Rout Rangers 11-4 To Even Up AL West

Jarrod Parker got plenty of home-run help and pitched his way into Oakland’s record book, and the surging Athletics pulled into a tie atop the AL West with Texas by overpowering the Rangers 11-4 on Wednesday.
