Mike Bell, a 19-year veteran of the Denton Fire Department, died Sunday evening after battling a rare form of brain cancer.

The Dallas Zoo’s baby giraffe officially has a name. She was named Jamie, after James Camden Sikes, who died of brain cancer.
Doctors discovered a brain tumor in Kara and Matthew Sikes’ only child. The cancer spread throughout the baby’s brain, so his parents took him back to their East Dallas home for his final days.
