Bill Would Let Students Earn Tuition With Community Service
Some good news for Texas families worried about paying for college. A bill filed in the state legislature would give high school students the opportunity to earn tuition credit for doing certain community service work.
State Lawmakers Want Higher College Grad Rates
Only 30 percent of college students in Texas get their four-year degrees within four years. State lawmakers want to improve that figure and are working on ways to make the schools more responsible.
