‘Cops & Robbers’ Game Goes Over Badly With Weatherford Cops

A modified game of tag, played at night, with cars and up to 60 people, has grown to the point in Weatherford that police had to put out a warning. Called Manhunt, Cops and Robbers or Fugitive, police said it’s prompting calls from concerned homeowners and sometimes putting teens in danger.

Denton Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year-old man they say shot his ex-girlfriend in the face.
Coleman Nichols is wanted for aggravated assault, after police say he opened fire on a woman early Saturday morning.

Victim Testifies In 18-Year-Old Fatal Home Invasion

Nearly 20 years after her grandmother was murdered, Melania Tyler, now 30-years-old, testified Tuesday about the night two masked men stormed into her home and shot and injured her and her two younger brothers before killing her grandmother.
