A Dallas Police Department arrest affidavit says the man jailed for burning the puppy known as Justice on April 4 did not start the fire that ultimately killed the animal.
A man accused of setting a puppy on fire saw his bond cut in half Friday.
Darius Ewing, the man accused of setting Justice the Dog on fire, is trying to have his bond reduced. His hearing has been rescheduled.
The 18-year-old Dallas man accused of hanging and burning a puppy named Justice is appearing in court on Thursday to ask for a bond reduction.
Friday night, Darius Ewing surrendered himself to police for the torture of Justice the puppy.
