The U.S. Supreme Court has sent the cases of six Texas death row inmates, including one of the infamous “Texas 7″ gang of escapees, back to a lower court for reviews of whether appeal attorneys let them down.
Grapevine police have released some of the calls made in the moments after an inmate, who was with Miami authorities as they traveled through North Texas, stabbed a detective and escaped. One call was actually placed by the injured officer.
