Besides rain and floods there’s another element to severe weather that’s proving to be costly — lightning. In Frisco, a lightning strike is being blamed for sparking a blaze that required four fire engines and a ladder truck to extinguish.
Engine maker Cummins Inc. and its joint venture Cummins Westport Inc. are recalling 25,013 engines because cold weather could cause a sensor to fail, resulting in an exhaust fire.
